About Material

In the difficult climatic conditions of Russia and Ukraine, a warm home is not a luxury, but a necessary condition for a normal comfortable life. In the modern world, the construction of residential structures simply requires high-quality, high-tech, new materials, and of course heat-insulating materials.

Penoboard – thermal insulation material of Ukrainian production.

Among the huge number of types of thermal insulation products of Russian and foreign manufacturers, one of the leading brands in the market is Penoboard.

This is one of the brightest representatives of modern thermal insulation materials, which today are widely used in the construction of residential and technical complexes and premises. The consumer, in the broadest sense of the word, has long appreciated the entire Penoaboard product line. From the presented materials, it is not difficult to choose the right insulation for solving various complexity of issues on insulation of rooms and buildings. Penoboard can satisfy even the most demanding customer. Penoboard is used not only for thermal insulation of buildings, but also for the construction of roads and railways for thermal insulation of the soil, to avoid deformation of the road surface in conditions of subzero temperature.

Characteristics of thermal insulation materials of the Penoboard trademark.

Penoboard extruded polystyrene foam is used for thermal insulation of floors, walls, foundations, various pipelines. Penoboard thermal insulation boards have a cellular structure with cells whose diameter is 1-2 tenths of a millimeter.

Penoboard has a number of advantages that make it quite competitive among other brands:

The material is highly environmentally friendly, i.e. chemically inert, does not rot.
Long life, that determine the following characteristics:

  • high resistance to deformation
  • low vapor permeability
  • owest thermal conductivity
  • does not absorb water at all
  • resistant to mold and mildew
  • Penoboard do not spoil rodents
  • It does not rot.
  • incombustible.

All Penoboard products are manufactured using flame retardants. The material belongs to the flammability class G1.

Simplicity and high speed of installation combined with ease of use. At the current pace of construction of buildings and structures, where time is really money, these qualities of Penoboard products are just the point.

Some distinctive qualities of Penoboard materials:

  • Lightweight material. Does not additionally load bearing structures, foundations, walls, etc. due to its lightness.
  • Large enough scope:
  • thermal insulation of both internal and external walls
  • roof insulation of various configurations
  • thermal insulation of all types of foundation
  • thermal insulation of all types of floors and floor coverings, including ice arenas
  • thermal insulation of pipelines for any purpose
  • warming of balconies and loggias
  • basement insulation
  • thermal insulation of household buildings, warehouses, granaries, etc.
  • thermal insulation of roads and railways

Thermal insulators made of extruded polystyrene foam are used for insulation of foundations, pipelines, roofs, floors, walls, etc. It is impractical to use extruded polystyrene foam only in curtain walls, since it makes it difficult to ventilate due to its vapor and moisture resistance.

The polystyrene extrusion method was invented in the United States about fifty years ago. The process made it possible to obtain an initial product with a uniform, equally distributed structure, consisting of small cells.
